Even if the wisdom tooth is not presenting, Dr. Walford can carry out a thorough exam using X-ray equipment to determine the position of the tooth. Extraction is carried out in-office, to ensure that you experience minimal disruption to your life. During routine exams, Dr. Walford will also check the positioning of wisdom teeth – especially in teens and young adults – as extraction is much easier when the bone is not as dense and the tooth has not fully developed.
