What is a Composite Resin?
Composite resin is a tooth-colored material that bonds to the surface of the tooth or fills a cavity. The material is strong and durable, allowing you to eat and drink as normal. However, if you drink tea or other stain-causing beverages, you may need an additional plastic coating to prevent discoloration. As composite resin is tooth-colored and can bond to the surface of the tooth, it is a much more preferable choice than traditional amalgam fillings.
